I was in Debenham's today to buy a £100 Diesel watch for my partner for Christmas. The very nice lady behind the till not only told me about the 3 day spectacular (I can cinfirm it is 15th, 16th & 17th) but she also put the watch on hold for me to go pick up Thursday at 20% less!!!!

Just been to debenhams today as i had a card which was a preview for the sale on Wed. They had the cards instore and it would have been easy to pick one up. It was great being able to get my 20% off toys and 25% off clothes today when it was nice and quiet rather than brave the queues and the pushing on Wednesday. If you are local to a store why not pop in and see if you can get a card (they are red in colour and say 25% off) and do your shopping before the rush.

I did the same today and walked back out again after being told by staff behind the counter that I could get the items cheaper if I buy them on Wednesday as they are being reduced even further (upto 50% off).
For example, I had some pyjamas at £24 and took them to the counter with my 25% off discount card. This would give me £6.00 off the pyjamas bringing the cost down to £18.00.
However, the kind lady behind the counter told me that these pyjamas are being reduced half price on Wednesday along with some other items I was indending to buy and advised me to come back then.

Quite a lot of people were in my local Debenhams today, not realizing that they could save upto 50% off Wednesday. Even though Debenhams have advertised a 25% sale, they are reducing prices of old stock aswell making a saving of upto 50%.

Thanks alot for those who helped me out in the thread. Managed to pick up the black ball gown with 50% off and a posh top which had 25% off plus I got another 10% off when I realised one the seams was coming unthreaded (always worth asking for more discount on slightly damaged goods!) but they didn't have another in my size.

It was already busy at 9am this morning in basingstoke so if you want something specific go there asap!
