    Best rate around is as others have said...Lloyds Vantage account one with 7k in the other with 3k in and each month take 1k out of the first put into the second then straight back into the first..can be done in seconds with their internet banking..simples!!

    I would keep £5001 in each and do an instant swap of the £1000 between them. That way you would get the 4% on the full amount for pretty much the whole month.
