Hi all. Couple here with two boys 12 and 8.
Done plenty of hols to Europe and Carribean, last few All Inc.
Wife and kids enjoy chilling around the pool, with the kids meeting new friends in the water.
I get a bit bored after a few days with the same old same old of the holiday being like the last ones and knowing what the day will bring ! Would prefer a bit of variety and some sightseeing/activities.
Wife won't consider a cruise or really fancying Orlando as the rest won't be there.
Really want to try and please all of us this time. Looking at a hot climate for 2 weeks @ 23rd July. Budget £3-4k.
Any ideas please ??
Thanks

Have you looked at Neilson holidays? They offer family holidays with lots of activities like watersports etc that you could do, kids clubs with lots of different activities for the kids and are quite luxurious if your wife wants to relax around the pool. They are quite expensive but should come in within your budget.

Egypt springs to mind - you and the kids could be off exploring while wife suns herself by the pool - it would be VERY hot in the middle of summer though.
we've been to Canada i July before, tonnes of stuff to do, but maybe not as restful as your wife would like, and you'd struggle with your budget to get flights and accommodation and still have enough left for activities ( the CDN dollar is very strong at the moment)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Does it have to be a hotel with AI facilities? Our main holiday for the last few years has been with Keycamp/Eurocamp - great pools, but with plenty of sightseeing as well. We normally go out in the morning, getting back around lunchtime to then laze around the pool or go to the beach.0
