Working tax credits for minimum wage

Hi,
After being unemployed for 12 months I took a job offering minimum wage in September. However, I simply cant afford my bills and have looked into Working Tax Credits. I have done the online calculations and it says I am entitled but only asks questions about the previous years earnings. Will I be entltled to claim solely on the premise of earning 11,565 per year? I know its not good to rely on such things but Im in dire straights here and am struggling/borrowing to pay rent and bills. Any advice will be more than helpful thanks.

I think if you work more than 30 hours a week and earn less than £13,300 you should be entitled to working tax credits.
