Grease hotel package

Hi all, Im looking to take my daughter for a night in London to see Grease for her birthday. Can anyone recommend a hotel package deal and a company that they have previously used. Having not stayed in London before im not awfully sure where to start looking. There appears to be lots of company's/websites offering package deals - ticket for grease and a night in a hotel, but I dont know how reliable these are.

Maybe it works out cheaper to buy the ticket then book a holiday Inn??

If anyone could help or advise it would be appreciated.

Not sure when you are going but if you look at www.theatremonkey.com under "latest special offers" there is a link for when you but a top price ticket you get your hotel room free through Capital Break. Unfortunately I've never used them before so can't comment what they are like.

Also if you decide against this, you can get a buy one get on free ticket for grease if you travel by train. Link I've bought tickets this way a few times and have always had really good seats.

We've used www.Superbreak.com a few times to book our accommodation and travel but not the theatre tickets. When booking through sperbreaks we could purchase our train tickets cheaper than any of the cheapest tickets available on virgin/east coast trains own websites and the hotels we have used have normally been the same price as the hotel's/chain's own websites so might be worth a look. We have never bought the theatre tickets this way because I found them to be more expensive and I have always got cheaper tickets elsewhere. (if you book this way the 2 for 1 train deal above would also be valid!)

If it is not last minute, I would say that pricing up a hotel, train or coach and theatre ticket would probably work out cheaper than booking a package theatre break. You would also get a better choice of hotel and theatre seats booking yourself. You could start by pricing up one of the budget chain London hotels such as Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, Travelodge, Ibis and read reviews of them on trip advisor. Then price up train fares in advance and check ticket prices (using theatre monkey for a guide as to which are better seats). www.tfl.gov.uk you can use the journey planner to check out how long it would be from the hotel to the theatre by putting in postcodes.
