I spent £30 for 3 Mythbuster DVDS for Christmas. :xmassmile My friend who bought them from Amazon for me, called and said, these are region 1 is that alright? I said yes, our DVD plays Japense DVDs so it should be multiregional. We have played American DVDs on it, we bought from a "flea market" in the states. Now when we tried the Mythbuster DVDs nothing, they all say wrong region on the DVD. I tried the sites Martin recommended,:money: but this DVD player was not listed on them. Where do we go from here? I hate to think that I wasted £30 as my friend did check with me first.

Japanese DVDs are Region 2 - the same as Europe.
You may be able to change the region code of your computer's DVD drive and watch them on that? Take a look into its properties in the Device Manager if you're using Windows.0 -
Can't see a region free code for your DVD player.
If you have a DVD player/burner in your PC then dvd43 should remove any region restrictions.
Changing the region setting within Windows itself only allows about 5 changes before it locks to the last setting chosen,
This software should get around this problem.
