if you are selling as a business then it is up to you to make sure that the item arrives undamaged and any damage in transit is your responsibility reagardless of whether or not insurance has been paid for. Under the new DSR regs it is actually illegal to charge buyers extra for insurance for the product to be delivered to them as it is not classed as being theirs until they have accepted the delivery
new DSR rules state that refunds have to be given within 30 days regardless of the condition that an item is returned in (or even if it's not returned at all), however the customer is under a duty of care to look after the goods so if they are returned in a damaged state/not returned you can take action against them for compensation.

She would appreciate any thoughts on this ...including any couriers who can compete with RM prices but can offer a more reliable service..
