connection time at Minneapolis

hello

im on a through flight with Continental airlines from las vegas to Heathrow connecting at Minneapolis

There is a 1 hour 5 minute connecting time at Minneapolis

Question is , is this enough time to make the connection and if you happen to miss the flight would Continental put you up in a hotel for the night if it was the last flight of the evening

thanks

Yes that should be enough time. We have had a connection with just 50 mins and made it comfortably.

They will put you on the next flight if you miss that one on a through ticket. Not 100% certain on the hotel, but I think they will put you up.

Perhaps give them a call to clarify.

That is a rather short time. A lot would depend if you're the only plane from overseas arriving at that time. If there's one that arrives shortly before you could be in trouble..
Try and get a seat as far forward as you can on the flight to MSP. That way you can be at the front of the security queues. Bear in mind you will have to - go through immigration, pick up your bags, re-check your bags and then go through security once more before you get your next flight.

In preparation I would check which terminal your flight arrives / departs from so you know what you've got to do when you get off the flight.
If there are a few people on the same flight they may hold the connecting flight to Vegas to get you on board.
Also, if you're traveling soon there's always the risk of snow there.

At the end of the day though, don't worry, Continental are responsible for getting you to Vegas as quickly and easily as possible

    Good luck :)

you read incorrectly . im flying from Vegas to Heathrow , so no immigration and no international flight

does that change your opinion ?

    thanks

Ah, yes, sorry. It's early and I killed a few brain cells last night :)
I'd still check the terminals. International flights may go from a different one. You won't have the hassle of immigration / bags so I would have thought that there would be no issues (unless there is "weather" around)

I have transferred through MSP within an hour, and that included collecting and rechecking my bags. The airport is very easy to navigate, and AFAIAA everywhere is walkable.
    Gone ... or have I?
