I have left it a bit late to put in my tax return, I have my UTR reference but cannot get into register my assessment.

I think I have checked all the correct boxes on the initial form where it ask if I am SA individual checked that box but when I click necx it asked for details but I cannot click into a box to put the information in.

Any help would be appreciated please

Op - as Pam implies , it would appear that you have not actually registered for online services as yet ?

You are not able to just go online and use the services , you actually have to register.

Once you have registered , with about 7 days you will receive in the post an activation code and pin number.

Only once you receive these and enter them into the online services page on HMRC will you be able to file your return online.

If you havent actually registered yet i would advise you to do it as a matter or urgency as the final date for filing without penalty is 31st Jan 2011.
