Selling goods from supermarkets

I have some items which have the supermarket tag/label still on them. Can I sell these on eBay?
And if so, should I remove the tag?
What about on the listing? Should I name the supermarket?
Thanks

Yes, you are allowed to sell BNWT items, wherever they came from. I'm thinking these are supermarket-branded clothes (e.g. George), but it applies to anything which is not perishables.
I would definitely mention which supermarket they came from, it might be useful to the buyer when buying, and I can't see why you would not want to mention what make they were.
Although you may feel awkward about selling something cheap, it's always better to be up front about the provenance of an item, as it saves hassle later on. It's your responsibility as a seller to make sure your listing is watertight. I would also - if it's clothing - give measurements as well as sizes because it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
If it's something like a game or a DVD, then just sell it on its own merits and mention it still has the label on it from where it was bought unless you want to try and get it off without leaving residue or causing damage."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I wouldn't specifically mention the supermarket, but as CQ says, list the brand. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
