I would like to see my credit report from the following websites below, as the subscription provides access to all three credit reference agencies:
http://www.checkmyfile.com/
http://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk/
Which is better? Opinions appreciated if you guys subscribed to one or both of the above.
If there are others, please suggest.
Check my file seems to only display Equifax and Call Credit data, and not Experian... (see the 'checkmyfile' website under '
More Detail Than Anywhere Else' under the 'Compare Credit Reports section - it says Equifax and Call Credit)

Hi book12
Experian are the most widely used credit reference agency (CRA) of the three so obtaining reports that omit Experian data is, in my opinion, not a good idea.
If you must sign up to a subscription service make it Credit Expert. Personally I prefer to obtain my statutory reports every few months at a cost of £2 each - plus all three are now available online.
Take a look at the following table (which checkmyfile used to publish on their website) to see how much data is missing:
I suppose you could use annualcreditreport to obtain a free Callcredit report each year, as long as you don't mind receiving a marketing e-mail every two weeks.
Hope I've helped you make an informed choice.

Looks like I will purchase multi credit reports from the annualcreditreport then. I hope it won't be bad as 'checkmyfile'.
Also, I saw some other multi-agency credit report websites, namely 'Givemecredit' and 'Fraudlock'. http://www.moneysupermarket.com/credit-monitoring/ Not sure how good both of them are though.0 -
As far as I know annualcreditreport is not a multi-agency report, they use data from Callcredit only.

i use annualcreditreport and find it to be very good...
been using since 2006.
i also use equifax as it came with my credit card.
they both give me about the same score, give or take 10 points...
so i would give annualcreditreport a try mate...
you can also sign up for monthly updates if you chose0 -

Yes, very good for seeing your Callcredit report.i also use equifax as it came with my credit card.
A great service provided by Capital One.they both give me about the same score, give or take 10 points...
A score which in the real world means very little, with the Callcredit based score meaning even less because hardly any lenders search them.you can also sign up for monthly updates if you chose
Yes, for £3.97 a month, when an online statutory Callcredit report is £2.
All in all these services represent poor value for money and don't provide a full picture of your credit files.
Statutory reports are the most thorough way to check your files and cost less than signing up to any subscription services.

In that case, I won't be using it then.
I would be using their 30 day trial or statutory report. What's the difference?0 -
The 30-day trials are usually free and a one-off statutory report costs £2, so the difference is basically £2. With each agency you're looking at the same data no matter which service you choose. The trials are of the agencies' regular monitoring services which you can cancel at any time and if you cancel before the trial ends you pay nothing, unless you order extra paid-for services (eg scores).

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Well, the part about each agency showing the same data is not exactly true. Different account providers may report to different CRAs.
E.g. my Virgin Media TV contract only shows up on my Equifax report, but not on Experian.0
