Do you enter comps from your local newspaper? They are worth a go as alot less entries than national newspapers etc - to prove this I entered a competition once but won twice!!!! So goes to show sometimes more prizes than entries!!!!!0
-
Despite entering 100s of comps already, I've not had a single win this year!
Seriously tho' and offering another perspective... Only give up if you're not enjoying that actual entering - it's supposed to be fun! Why put yourself though it if you hate it? It's not like a job you have to turn up for day in, day out!
However, it could well be that some fab wins are winging your way right now...Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
I always look at it like this....enter and dont win..or dont enter and dont win. LOL.
I personally have become so addictive that even if i didnt win i would still feel the need to enter.
Your time has to comebut if your really not enjoying it and finding it a massive chor, maybe it is time to take a break and see how you feel...
GOODLUCK THOUGH!!! HOPE YOU WIN SOON xxxx

Keep going, especially if you enjoy doing it.
The best wins for me are the small ones that just arrive in the post. You never know what could arrive tomorrow ^^
I think I enter on average around 50 competitions a day, some weeks more some less. (Depends on hubby, children, study, work... lack of coffee...)
In 2011 I aim to only enter competitions where I want to win, will cut out alot of the strange ones out that I had been previously entering - and dont get caught up on the ones where you can keep trying until you instant win - and avoid vote ones, they are ghastly
Stick the instant win type ones in a daily folder, go through them when you have 15 mins spare and if you get lucky - wahooo!!
Wishing you the very best of luck, and to everyone else on MSE in 2011!Wishing you all good luck!

Don't give up, do you have a local free paper? they often run competitions with fewer people entering them. I have had a couple of wins through my local (including a George Forman
Grill). Good luck

Don't give up Alilyn, I too haven't won since September despite doing 2-3 hours comping a day - a dry spell really gets you down. Today I won a £15 itunes voucher from the Facebook 'Fabulous' handbag comp and it's made my day. When I first started comping, the wins were plenty, a holiday to India in my first week. I keep the faith that I'm going to surpass that one, one day! Every comp I enter, I envisage winning, it will happen eventually I'm sure. One things for sure, if I don't enter, I won't win it so I'll keep going.
Having said that, I feel that my email address which I chose in the middle of the year is an unlucky one so I've created a new one for 2011 - I feel that's going to be a lucky one. Try changing your email address, see if you can change your luck, even though it's a pain in the bum adjusting all your created accounts over time.
Definitely don't give up, just think positive and it will happen, eventually :-)11th Heaven prizes Number 103
