Halifax bank charges no response?

Does anyone know how long it normally takes for them to send copies of statements requested? I sent a letter recorded delivery on the 19th Oct and they cashed the ten pounds on the 27th but i still havent heard anything. Is this normal or does it sound like they are just going to try and ignore me?Any advice would be appreciated.

If it was a request made under the DPA, then they have 40 days to respond.

Hello there. I asked Halifax for statements and posted recorded delivery on 18th Sept..received by them 19th Sept. Got a letter back on 26th October saying they were compilling the statements for me and I got them in the post about 10 days later ( in 78 seperate envelopes..how ridiculous!). However when checking through I found I was missing about 12 months here and there. Went in to my branch to ask where they were and was told they'd be sent after the weekend. They eventually were sent out a week later in, you guessed it, separate envelopes..and two copies of each missing month!?!? They will come for you eventually. Good Luck!
