Hug in A Valentines Mug - sachet of hot chocolate, mini marshmallows, and chocolate tokens (available at Home Bargains at the moment for 39p a pack) or you could substitute tokens for a heart shaped lolly (also Home Bargains 39p) as a stirrer

These love bugs are now on sale in Tesco for £1 a net ..... good for Valentines Day, but the use by date on the ones I got is Dec 11 - so I am stocking up for Easter and Mothers Day - Tesco only have these in the run up to Valentines day - then they disappear - so if you want to do the same ...... get them while you see them.

These chocolate tokens are from Home Bargains ..... 39p a pack ..... I have covered on of the sides up with a scalloped circle (using a scalloped circle punch) because I didn't really like sentiments that were on that side .... like hot stuff and the like.

Wow some lovely stuff here flying pig, i will pop down to home bargains today as i am looking for new crafts for the children for valentines ;-)

Last year we made slimming world ferrero rocher sweets, and made little boxes with my cricut but you would probably find a template on internet for a small box then used the small paper cases , they were lovely, the recipe has a few variations but here it is if anyone wants to try them

    3tblsp nutella
    3 weetabix or ryvita
if you melt the nutella for a few seconds in the microwave is stirs in better, they taste fab, you can add golden syrup but i like it as they are

Here you all are!!! I have not checked in since before Christmas but as DH and I have agreed not to spend a lot of money on Valentines gifts I thought I would come on in the hope a new Valentines thread had been started and here we are! I have already made his card but I wanted to come and see if you lovely ladies had any ideas I could [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE] borrow :D You all have lovely makes, I like the idea of the pot of love, I still have some glass jars leftover from christmas. I may do that and put in the "fun vouchers" (link here) I have printed off for him rather than the scratchcards.

  • Well i'm preparing for my easter craft sale (didn't get in on time to get a table for the Feb one...Valentines or the March...mothers day).

I'm doing my usual little jars of sweeties...
fried egg sweets & smashed up chocolate (from the discount section of damaged choc eggs) - "who dropped all the easter eggs"
white marshmallows - "easter bunny tails"
chocolate raisins - "easter bunny poo"

and am going to make some more sock cupcakes (this time some childrens sized and mens' ones) i'm going to stick to white socks with pastel cupcake cases (then they can be re-packaged if they dont sell). I've also found some little nets of dinky pastel coloured foil-wrapped chocolate eggs in home bargains. They were really cheap (I think 59p ish) and will be my "cherry" on top of the cupcake.

Hi flyingpig58, these are great, are they made out of card? Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas.

I did pots of love a couple of years ago, which originally started as a pot of gold! I know a few other people then went on to make them aswell

For some reason I don't have a wrapped picture but it looked even better wrapped and with a nice big bow on it!

Hi RustyFlange, can i ask where did you get the lottery cards from? I've looked in Asda and Morrisons today and both didn't stock any? Valentines is almost here but no sign of these cards yet! Thanks!
