How Do I Buy Small Low Value Gold

Anyone know where I can buy some small low value Gold? I want to spend about £500 so I guess a small 1/2 ounce bars?

Anyone know best sites?

I want to do it on the net unless you know anywhere near Southampton

Try Chard. They have a guide to investing in gold here, which is quite useful. Gold bars, especially small ones, are one of the most expensive ways of buying gold. For a small amount you would almost certainly be better off with sovereigns or, if you are merely wanting exposure to the price of gold, one of the gold tracker funds.
