Btistan eco click taps - good idea?

Hi all,

I am about to order new bathroom taps ( mono basin mixer and bath/shower mixer) and have already searched this forum to discover that Bristan are a good brand. As I look at the various styles I notice that some are available with an eco clcik water saving feature containing a ceramic cartridge which restricts flow. I assume this is a permanent part of the tap`s construction and not something that will need replacing like a filter.

Is there any reason not to buy one of these? I have a combi boiler if this makes a difference.

Thanks,
Slinky

Hi Slinky, We have Bristan eco shower taps, they work fine, I have never felt the need to turn the water up to full (past the click) but we had only had our show for 14 months when the thermostat went. The engineer did come out and fix it at no cost but now I wonder how long this new one is going to last.
