eek, lots and lots still left on my list. glad we aren't until the 21st! only one weekend at home left before the wedding though, as I'm going up to my mum's the weekend before the wedding so OH can have his stag at home.

didn't get any wedding jobs done yesterday, or the night before, apart from organising all of the various paperwork in to a folder. I might give the register office a call today to see if they've looked over all of our choices yet. I don't know if they normally let you know it's ok or not so thought I'd better check!

I'm not getting either ring polished. My wedding band will be my grans wedding band, which is obviously quite dull and scratched, but I didn't like the idea of polishing all that wear away. my engagement ring is still very shiny and clean in comparison though (and I have only been wearing it for 7 months after all) but I like that the rings show they've been worn.

Oh and PS as of this morning I am officially back in the healthy BMI range :T (9st11.5), which is where I want to be on our wedding day. It is actually 13.5lbs less than I was when I tried on my dress at Easter and felt bloated. It is also 2.5lbs less than I was when I tried it on when my mum was being shown how to tie me in, and she said I shouldn't lose any more incase the 'v' shape at the back doesn't look like a 'v'.

That's amazing Natalie!!!!! :j:j:j:j You have done so well to lose a stone since Easter, wow! And I love your little rabbit, he sounds soooo cute.

Aww - that's so cute about Bun coming to visit you! :A I want one!!

:T:TSuper well done on getting to a healthy BMI - you've lost loads!:j:j

I was nearly there myself, when I did a sneaky weigh-in and measure a day early. The first time I got on the scales it said 10st6.5 = BMI 25, but then I was so surprised I tried it again (twice!) and it said 10st 7 both times = 25.1. But nearly there! :) That's motivation to keep to the straight and narrow in the last couple of weeks!

Yay BB! Good for you! I'd believe the first reading if I were you :D
    Morning all

Another sleep down. We are all so close now. Does anyone else though still feel it isn't quite real somehow?

    Yes!!!!!!!

SKS - I like your logic, don't think that I would get an older ring polished either :)

17 days for us! Quite weird to think in 18 days I'll be a married woman. ;)
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Eeek!!! Don't worry about your to-do list pet, it looks very doable. If it makes you feel better, I have more to do than you have! :o

I feel very surreal about it all.

OMG indeed! I am looking forward to ticking you ladies off the July list as the sooner you all have your day, the sooner it will be mine. I am desperate for my honeymoon. I am so tired and work is driving me mad.

Ideas please - I am having a Cocktail and Canape hen do at mine on Saturday night. I have got Bellini's as an arrival cocktail and then i'll serve jugs of Pimms and Woo Woo. I am lacking inspiration on canape's though. I don't have time for much cooking or prep on Saturday as i'm out most of the day. I have got the obligatory posh crisps and dips, cheese straws, veg crudities and now my mind has drawn a blank. I officially have bride brain and can not retain any information.

I feel really strange about it too. It still seems so far away, even though it's not. It's weird, because it was only December that we got engaged and April that we decided to do it in July, so it's all been quite quick, but seems so slow. I'm excited, and nervous, and very much looking forward to being married, but at the same time I will be sad that it is all over so soon and there is no more wedding.. forever!

I know how you feel! Tomorrow is my LAST DAY AT WORK and I am so damn excited!!!! :T I'm also shattered and in need of a break and a lie in so badly. When do you finish? xx

Best to have stuff that can just be assembled maybe. Houmous, red pepper pesto, guacamole etc on mini melba toasts? Little blinis with cream cheese and smoked salmon? Can't beat cocktail sausages btw! :D

    LOL at bride brain!!! :rotfl:
