  • Im the same as Natalie- I didnt send out any save the dates so wanted my invites sent out as early as possible to give people plenty of notice.

    I feel like Im losing motivation to be good!:mad:
    Breakfast: half a bowl of porridge (I just couldnt eat a whole bowl today)
    Snacks yoghurt drink and 5 baby plum tomatoes
    Lunch: boots shapers chicken tikka flat bread and shapers onion rings
    Dinner: chilli with rice and a small sprinkle of cheese
    Snack: raisin club

    I have been to the gym today aswell, I used the rowing machine today aswell, which I havent used for absolutely ages, Im shattered now!!:rotfl:

    Natalie- glad you think your hair clips are just right, we look forward to seeing photos!!

    Awww come on Emma - just when I'm getting my act together!! You can't leave me to be good!! :)
    B - usual
    L - left over stroganoff & dry roasted veggies
    S - Yoghurt
    T - chicken dry fried with a touch of Nando's peri peri garlic sauce drizzled over Mmm (very few calories for what you use), served with dry roasted veggies
    S - 1 hotel chocolat choc.
    E - 20 mins of a new exercise DVD (well it's an old one but I've just downloaded a chapter on iTunes)
  • I havent driven off the motorway yet, just been arguing with myself whether to take the scenic route!! I think Im just worried Im going to be stuck at this weight for a few good weeks (like I did last time) and then that makes me think 'well maybe I should have a few treats'!!

    It's a vicious circle though isn't it - if you have a 'few treats' you will be stuck at this weight for a good few weeks :)

    :T Just booked MrD and myself in for two nights in Lincoln two weekends before our wedding :T. (I would have done the weekend before but that's when I'm having my hen do). I hope I can manage to keep it a secret but if the !!!!!! tries to organise something himself that weekend (like his stag do) I will have to put my feet down. :) I figured we can go over Friday night, have a lazy Saturday morning, go watch a film at the cinema mid afternoon, and then go to Ask! for tea :D (so that will be two/three meals out in the fortnight before the wedding - god what am I thinking!!) It will be nice though - and I will ban myself from talking about the wedding for the whole of that weekend! :D (Plus 10% cashback from Quidco :T)

    Evening all!!!

    I have been sooo good today - first day of Lent and I am off all sweet stuff! This is me ---> :A

    I'm going to order my BM's dress next Tuesday and will try on my own (well, the sample) dress at the same time, just to see how the diet's going! :j

    I have chosen our invitations, oh Lord, they are just GORGEOUS :D Can't wait for them to be finished.
    :rotfl:no complex required. I tend to have more time when i am sat at my work computer all day. I use my down time to have a quick catch up but when the hols come round i'm usually out and about busy!
    As for the weight thing i have yo-yo'd my entire life. I find maintaining my weight loss harder than the actual losing it!

    Not thought about giving anything up for Lent. Perhaps i could use this time to give up something small. I couldn't do your whole list all at the same time :rotfl:

    I am trying to source a nice dress suitable for a Summer ball wedding in June. TK Maxx website has some lovely ones but i'm unsure on their sizes as previously i have found they tend to be american labels and they are different to the UK.

    Re Lent - maybe pick out one thing and give that up? Just see how you go? I need to give up ALL sweet stuff (plus crisps) - if I just give up chocolate, I'll substitute some other junk for it! :D

    That's the only one which is fully completed, but have got going with all the rest - at least it's only 17 that I need to do.

  • Hey everyone- why isnt it Friday yet!!

    I woke up feeling positive and more motivated for being good today, and was really up for going to the gym- well Ive now got a headache and feel pants and just want to go home and sleep!! Hopefully ill feel better by 4!

    Oh your weekend away sounds lovely Natalie- I find it hard to believe you could cope a whole weekend without talking about the wedding though (I know I would struggle!!)

    BTW, my STS was actually a 0.5lb loss!!!!!!!!! I thought I was 10st 4lbs last week but I was 10st 4.5lbs! :T I know that 0.5lb isn't much but it's better off than on!! It's given me a little boost anyway :) I'm still being good. The shakes are filling but I do get peckish a few hours afterwards, so I'm having 2 clementines as a snack. That can't so much damage, can it? :D I'm CRAVING chocolate but only because I had some at the weekend. It'll go away in a few days. Until then, I'm ignoring it!


    20 weeks and 2 days until our wedding - that's 142 days!!! Where did the 150-day mark go while I wasn't looking???? :eek::eek::eek::eek: Anyway, I have 1lb a week to lose, that's very realistic and I am determined to do it. I can't wait to try the sample dress on again next week to see if I'm losing inches too. My own dress will be in at the end of April, woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!


    I'm currently writing the text for our invitations :) I'm so far behind the rest of you it's unreal! :o

    I didnt go to the gym, I didnt think using gym equipment was a safe idea when Im feeling a bit wobbly!

    My jewellery has arrived and I love it - I *think* it'll go with my dress. It's a nightmare cause MrD hasn't seen it so he's useless at giving an opinion - lol although he did say he liked the necklace and bracelet. I'll take a photo of them along with my hair grips on Saturday while he's out. :D (He has seen them all - just it give me something to do!)

    Oh god I know - waking up was so hard this morning - infact I'm not convinced that I woke up at all all day!!
    And ha!! Yes I bet I find it a struggle to not mention the wedding - but I think it will be lovely to just have a weekend off - the lull before the storm. :) I just hope I don't 'need' that weekend for any last minute preparations!!

    Brilliant news Wanchai!! I am *hoping* by Tuesday to be back to 10st4 then we can be real diet buddies!! 0.5lbs is a GREAT loss so stop any thoughts of 'it isn't much'.
    And we've all agreed I'm a little bit obsessive and organised so don't worry that you haven't completed and sent your invites!! According to the etiquette books they should be sent out 6 weeks prior!! Madness!! :D
