Tunisia Packages

I am hoping someone can illuminate me. I am looking for a week long package for Hammamet in Tunisia. I can leave any time from Tuesday 21st November, but all of the flights seem to be on Sunday afternoons? Do they not have flights out during the week?

At a push I could leave on Sunday 26th November, but it wouldn't be ideal.

I am taking my 76 year old father away for a week away, he has been to Tunisia before and liked it. He is not very mobile - arthritis and walks with 2 sticks, so I am looking for a hotel that does an all inclusive package where hopefully he can find some other people his own age to chat to, play cards with etc. Does anyone have any experience? As he has already been to Hammamet, I was thinking of trying Hammamet Yasmine and as I know lots of people on this board have been to Tunisia, I thought I'd check your experiences.

I am finding some good all inclusive deals form the midlands ( Birmingham or Nottingham) coming out at under £300

Should I be booking now, as it is already a "late deal" or leaving it as late as possible?, £300 each really is my budget.

Are the midlands airports where you want to fly from or are they just the best deals you have seen?

As my father lives in the midlands, it would be easiest for him to fly from Coventry, Birmingham or Nottingham ( east mids), so yes, need to fly from there really..

Yes, have noticed some great deals on Thomson too - have been reading your posts to other people in the last weeks sloppy and so have been checking Thomson, my travel, last minute, and latedeals and have seen some good 4 or 5* AI deals in the £300 mark, but they are all on Sundays, so I think I will just have to accept that!

Yep looks like all the flights leave on a Sunday. What i would say is go for a decent 4 or 5 star hotel and read reviews first as some hotels in Tunisia especially 3 star ones are not that good.

Thanks a lot for that sloppychops, I did think as much.

A bit annoying as I will now "waste" some of my leave, but can't be helped, I suppose...

Thanks for the good advice, yes, I will try to find a 5 star - do you think it will be safe to leave the booking until next weekend, or should I get on with it now

I know hubby booked ours(early birthday pressie for me) a few weeks ago and i was looking for aholiday for a friend and Newcastle had sold out fully for the dates we go.
So i would be tempted to book asap incase the above happens with the dates you want or the decent hotels sell out.
