I have had reason to recourse to ICSTIS twice in the past. Once for computer dial-up hijacking, and once for txt message scam. Both times ICSTIS was pretty useless. By it’s own admission it can take months to investigate one of these obvious frauds and the companies are allowed to continue stealing people's cash during that time.
It would be simple to close down the phone lines within hours and the perpetrators should be jailed. The directors of the companies licensing out these lines should also be jailed as they are fully aware of the use to which they are put.
It is extremely galling when one knows that one has been robbed and to have to pay the robber after being robbed.
