Good morning.
The OH and I have both booked off the Royal Wedding week and would like to find ourselves a nice cottage down in Cornwall for the w/c 23rd April.
We like to travel around a bit and see stuff so are looking for a good place to base ourselves.
A couple of years ago we stayed in a B&B east of St. Austell so I was looking for somewhere most westwards.
Any ideas or recommendations? Our absolute max budget is £350 and we have a dog to take with us.

I doubt that you will find a 'nice cottage' in Cornwall for that price, it is Easter week and prices are always a lot higher in a holiday week.0

Actually I have found quite a few at that price range in various places, which is why I chose that price. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any gems.0 -
Hello
Have stayed in this place and can highly recommend and they accept dogs:

Only trouble is that it is over budget by just over £100.0 -
Hi,
Look up Cadgwith Cove Cottages, they have some really lovely cottages at Lizard and around the Helford Passage. Would post a link for you but, as a newbie, I'm not allowed.0 -
Actually, if you look up 'Swallow Barn' in Constantine, that really is a lovely place. Pets go free and it seems to be in your price range, right in the heart of the Helford Passage and great for a holiday.0

Stayed in porthleven loads of times, its practically home from home. Last time we stayed here

We have also stayed in a cottage called SEA PINKS, they also take dogs.
Porthleven is near Helston, easy for the Lizard, Lands End, Minack Theatre, St. Ives, Sennen. Cant praise Porthleven enough, really pretty seaside villiage with lots of shops, pubs, and plenty of walks along the coastal path.0 -
if you want somewhere quietish in the day but with lots of links to the surrounding areas, i have stayed in the little village of mousehole. i am however unsure of prices as i get a discount with a family friend but i believe as there are less attractions here it is cheaper and less well known.
however it is very quick and cheap to get a week/ weekend bus pass to travel around to all the local areas such as land's end and penzance.Paying it all off in 2017:

Hi

We stayed here in June last year (for less than £200) and it was a real bargain. In a lovely location that is pretty central for most of Cornwall.0 -
Don't know how much it'll be in Easter week and the properties are mostly North Cornwall, but try www.cornishseaviewcottages.co.uk
We've gone on holiday with them (to Port Isaac) for the past three years and they're great as bases to explore that part of the county."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
