  • Try customer services on 0207 467 1109. Alternatively, you can go into "My account" on the site and cancel your order from the "My Orders" menu there.

    Yeah if the order has not been processed or despatched yet there will be a cancel button next to the order in "My Account" - just cancel and start again. If it isn't there chances are it's too late - HMV can usually start processing orders just a few hours after placing them, which is usually a good thing but maybe not for you:confused:

    Remember (off topic) quidco cashback is now 11% with HMV too.
    So if you cancel & re-order your item use quidco.
    It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

    Sorry no I think I wasn't clear enough, I don't want to cancel I want the item but it's a large item and I want it plain wrapped because if it arrives saying PLAYSTATION all over the box then it will ruin christmas so I really must get hold of them to tell them to plain wrap it. There's no facility on the payment screen to add notes like that so I ordered item at 1am and have been trying to contact them via mail since but no reply.

  • As said above just cancel it and re-order with the gift wrapping details, only takes a couple of minutes. Besides it wouldn't say Playstation all over the box anyway because it would likely be in a plain brown cardboard box.

    Ok cool thanks I will try but I thought it would just be sent out in the playstations box with a postage label on it, I have had stuff arrive like that before by courier if it's large.

    Hi phantom thanks so much I rung that number and got through to their online customer services and he assured me it will come in a card board box, sorry to other users (see above) who obviously thought my real concerns were a point of hilarity I hope I cheered up their day!! Thanks again to all, everything sorted out now for the better. :T
