Quick accident query?
Friend of mine was involved in an accident:- their fault, running into the back of slow moving traffic resulting in the car they hit being shunted forward into the rear of the next car, no one was hurt.
The car driver she hit has just rung up for her insurance details, mentioning the car being written off and needing to claim for their "insurance excess" (my friend herself has a £150 excess).
Just wondering whether it is likely she'll have to pay out anything from her own pocket, or will her insurance company cover everything?.
(she's not fully comp so won't be claiming herself).

I would think she will have to pay the £150.00 excess.
There is a claim on the insurance.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
If she has a normal TP only or TPFT policy her insurance company will pay the £150.00 excess and the value of the other car.
She should not have to pay anything towards the claims from the other two drivers.0
