Why did you assume that's what would happen? Did you get confirmation of this?As I paid on a pro rata basis from the 25th January - 1st February by debit card (and following DD's on the 1st of each month) I assumed if I cancelled my direct debit I would be sent a finalised invoice with pro rata charges on between the 1st January and the 25th.Competition wins: Where's Wally Goody Bag, Club badge branded football, Nivea for Men Goody Bag0 -
You always have the option of saying "sue me for it" and walking away - they probably won't bother, especially if the obligation is ambiguous, or a judge may side with you for a more compelling case. Or they may do the smart thing, and give up on you and write it off.0
