PC freezing

in Techie Stuff
got a new pc in October, the monitor died so just bought a new one, but within 3 minutes everything just freezes. It seems to work in safe mode ok. Any ideas?

Perhaps rule out malware:
Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.50 - FileHippo.com
and install. Go to UPDATE tab, and click CHECK FOR UPDATES. Run a quick scan. Remove anything it finds and post log here.
If anything is found recheck for updates then run a FULL SCAN.
Then download and install: Download HijackThis 2.0.4 - FileHippo.com
Hit the top button in the program which produces a log within seconds. Post that log here.0
