Has anyone heard anything for the 2012 Silverstone event?

There isn't a World Series by Renault event in the UK this year.

The only British meeting mentioned on their website is for the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and that is a joint one with the World Endurance Championship at Silverstone.

Thanks, was a little confused by this with the Silverstone website only listing the Endurance Championship and the World Series website lisiting Silverstone for that weekend; http://www.worldseriesbyrenault.fr/en/eventInfo/Pages/Default.aspx

So its a joint event?

its a paid event. normal race event with the formula renault race.
if you want free entry to race meetings join the silverstone marshals. you get a pass for the season for £15, add £10 for a freind and also every meeting you marshal you get 2 extra guest passes. these are not valid for moto gp/f1. plus free camping. do 30 days over year or years and get £100 gift voucher to spend in the gift shop or driver experance. also you get a free pair of proban overalls and the odd free breakfast and drinks in the paddock bar.
