you better believe they do. I had the misfortune to be sitting across from a guy on a train last summer who did exactly this. It was bad enough that he clipped his nails but the fact that it was his toenails freaked me out completely.:eek::eek::eek:
He looked like a backpacker type who was bumming around Europe and abviously doiong his grooming along the way.

I've never moved carraiges so fast in my life. Gross - still makes me go "ewwww" at the very thought!

YUK! Toenails should only be cut over the toilet if you ask me and the bits flushed away!

I know what you mean! Its the guys that get me- snipping at their nails with nail cutters on the bus! Flinging bits all over the place and then don't understand why they get such looks thrown at them!

I'd be in jail if someone did this whilst sitting near me. :rotfl:

Please for your own sake, never travel at the back of a bus in South London!;)
  • You could do the face masks in your room together with a bottle of wine etc.

I would not be happy if I was paying for a spa day and ladies around the pool were applying face masks to each other. That is bad etiquette-sorry!

You can usually get a manicure for around £25 at a spa and many have offers on for a facial and massage for around £50. The best offers are to be found at the beginning of the year as business is slow. Call them and negotiate a price.

See, this is why people drive rather than take publuic transport whenever they can!! Yuk! I caught a woman shaving her legs in the communal shower at the local pool once and I thought that was bad enough!

As for the original dilemma - I think regardless of whether it was allowed/frowned upon, I'd certainly feel a bit sheepish doing my own treatments - I'd prefer to pay for them and then at least I can relax and enjoy them properly...
