ATOS Inability to work thing

I had one of these through the other day and have sent it back I assume it was something to do with my DLA claim?

I've heard really terrible things about ATOS medicals and am really panicing about having to go for a medical I have mental health problems. I said on the form I would need someone with me but I don't know whether I'd rather I had someone come to my home and invade my space or try to go there and hope I can have some level of control of myself!

They havent even told me if I'll need a medical yet but its making me go potty just thinking about it.

Was the form an ESA50? Did you have any help completing it?

Are you claiming ESA? Have you not kept a copy of the form?

No not claiming ESA, no they needed the form back today and I only got it yesterday because of christmas/new year post. So just filled it in in a bit of a panic and sent it back...

If you are definitely not claiming ESA (even credits only?) then it sounds like a DLA review form. When did you last have your claim reviewed?

If you had called them they would have allowed an extension on the return time. In future, always take a copy of what you have sent!

Do you still have the letter that came with the form? If so, does it have a title on it or the name of the dept it came from?

With ESA, were you told that your claim had been declined, or that you would not be receiving any money?

It is difficult to know what the form was, but with you referring to it saying something about being unable to work, this would imply it is to do with ESA.
