Hi,
i am a virgin media tv customer and i am trying to add 10meg broadband to my package , when i click the special offers for existing customers on their web site (six months half price) i go to the enter details screen fill it all in but when i click next i always get sorry yours session has timed out please try again (no matter how quick i type). i have tried emailing them got no reply and tried phoning and got told this is a web site exclusive offer.
does any one have any advice as to why my session keeps timing out.

This sounds like an error their end. It should at least give you time to fill out the form.
I upgraded recently from 10 to 20mbps, but I did it via phone as there was a problem with the site then too.
I would call them - you'll still get the special offer. Good luck.Look at it this way... In a hundred years who's gonna care?0 -
get on the phone to them and keep pestering their sales dept, they have access to ALL the deals whether they are web deals or not. just say that the website doesnt work and that you want to take advantage before they stop doing the offer, if they insist on fobbing you off, just ask for a manager, they will soon sort things out.0

Might be easier said than done with customer support as they're all based in India now reading off their scripts. Last time I rang VM support I had to endure 15 minutes of being told to "turn it off and on again" before they finally told me there was a fault in my area :wall:0

ahh yes, the should be moving the call centre back to the UK once the indian contract has run out, i used to work in their call centre you see and i used to give exactly the same information to customers who rung with exactly the same issues, back then i used to be able to transfer internally, i guess its a whole new ball game now, sorry.0

Really? Which call centre did you work in? I work at a company in Dudley that received an influx of their staff after they shut down their call centre (near by in Merry Hill I believe).0

i was based at Concorde house in manchester, i left as it was a ball ache to travel to every day0

Select "do you want to leave Virgin Media?" you are more likely to get a UK based operator.Might be easier said than done with customer support as they're all based in India now reading off their scripts.
