PCWorld - Christmas refunds

My DH bought me a Windows7 pack as part of my Christmas present (Mid November -unusually for a man, he shops early!). His heart was in the right place but I really didn't need or want this - but was concerned as I didn't think there was any chance PC World would take it back even though it was still sealed as we were well over their returns period. I reckoned I had nothing to lose by asking - and, to my amazement, they happily took it back without any fuss at all - and handed over £97 in cash, not even mentioning giving me a credit note !
They certainly didn't have to do this - and I was well impressed with them.

Why do you need to know the exact store ? (I can pm you if you really need it but I don't usually put exact locations online).ELITE 5:2

No particular reason, just the difference in customer service in some locations make them look like totally different companies.0

Good to read something nice about them for a change!!"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
