disabled neighbour needs a specialised bed

This is awful, poor chap. I know a lot of people say this but has he (or you on his behalf) contacted his MP. Believe me they can work wonders in circumstances like this.
My mother was moved to the lovliest of places when her block of over 60s flats (an housing association had taken over from the local council) were rented out to anyone and eveyone and a known drug dealer moved in next door. She had months and months of people trying to break in, drug dealing in the communial gardens, even the police raided her flat by mistake. Her life (being disabled and also severly deaf) was made a misery and the HA did diddly squat so we contacted our MP who (within 5 weeks) found her a new flat in a beautiful block that has full 24/7 support and aslo happens to be beside the river.0 -

the MP is involved but the christmas holidays hasnt helped. they should be back monday and hopfully contact him regarding this.
not hopefull as the old MP retired before the elections who was brilliant and knew who to contact direct with nearly all aspects of things the new one is young and only just got the chair warm so to speek.0
