AMEX 5% cashback in first 3 months

My AMEX offers 5% cashback in the first three months upto £100. This means if I spend £2000 in month one, any extra I spend in months two and three won't be counted as cashback. Should I, once I spend £2000, move to my M&S cashback card (lower cashback) for months 2 and 3?
I can then move back to my AMEX card in month 4 (I'm confident I'll meet the minimum yearly spend to get the cashback) for the 1.75% cashback.

I haven't heard about the 1.75% cashback.
But in months 2 and 3 it's just a case of comparing the cashback rates. I think it's 0.5% for Amex but don't know about M&S.
Remeber that Amex on give cashback on whole pounds and not pence.
This means unless you spend whole pounds all the time, the cashback rate is less than quoted.0 -
If it's the Platinium cashback card it'd 0.50% for the first £3,500 then 1% up to £7,500 then 1.25% thereafter. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!0
