New wallpaper - when can u paint on it?

Options
Hey all,

As the title suggests we have put up some new wallpaper, anyone any idea as to how long we should leave it before painting it? The paper we put up was not lining paper, but it was paper designed for painting over.

We papered the room on Monday and thought it would be ok to paint on today, now the paper hasnt started to peel off the walls but parts of it have started to bubble.

We thought the 4 days would be long enough to leave it but clearly not! Anyone have any idea how long the paper should be left before we continue to paint it?

Many thanks!

It'll almost certainly be fine - its just the water in the paint making it bubble and once its dry it will go down again. If you are really worried, get a tiny dress pin and just make a small hole in the bubble just to make sure any air escapes as it contracts back down.

If the paper had been put up correctly , the following day .
but parts of it have started to bubble.
Did you let it soak long enough ?

Lets sort out bubbles ( as M . Jackson would say) first .

EDIT sorry thought it was the paper bubbling
