Eon from EDF please help
After gettiing nowhere with EDF customer services (asked them for direct debit rather than cash on demand no phone call except the one that cut itself off when i answered 4 times) i was called by Eon, he took my details saying this:
Direct debit at £18 per month gas and electric
Scheme is called energy reward (£100 credit at end of the year)
Free wall mounted energy clock to keep track of what i'm using on electric.
1 month rolling contract i can cancel with no cancellation fees at any time.
Said also the rates they charge are cheaper then EDF
Should i stick with EDF for the cheap no increase gas till march or go with this scheme from Eon instead?
Many thanks for your advice.

Never ever accept what company reps tell you.
Is that £18 per month per fuel or for both.
Do you know your annual consumption figures?
If so use a comparison site to get the best deal.
£18 /month is very low for gas if you have central heating.
Neither EON or EDF have raised their prices, EON could do this at any moment, EDF say they won't 'til March. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
It is for both gas and electric that £18 per month is for, but i really am a low user.
He said he will send everything in black and white and i have time to cancel so i will check it out best i can too. I didn't trust him at all i will cancel if they tell me anything different.
No idea of annual consumption figures.
Thanks.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
You must find out what they are, phone your present supplier and ask for the information.
£18 for both is unfeasably low, I consider myself a low user, 2000Kwh electricity and 10,000 Kwh gas, which costs me around £ 50 /monthThat gum you like is coming back in style.0
