I signed up for the above hoping to have cover for my radiators which I think I am in need of now! A couple of them do not heat up properly and there's a range of knocking noises heard once the heating starts up. Will my homecare plan allow for a call out to sort the issues I have with my radiators(and/or pipelines) ?
Anybody who's on a similar plan who had BG to look into trouble with radiators might have the answer.
Thanks in advance!:)

It is almost certain that BG will want your system to be power flushed at a cost of several hundred pounds to you; Homecare does not cover that task.0

If your rads are not hot all over, a bleed valve key (about one pound from any DIY shop) would have been a much more economic solution than BG's dreadful boiler cover.
It would not cover pre-existing conditions anyway, as is clearly stated on the website:
Key Exclusions:
- Cosmetic Damage or damage caused by third party
- Design or pre-existing faults
- System Improvements e.g. adding an additional radiator
- Removing and damage caused by sludge and scale

They will fail your first visit and cancel the agreement or charge you for the repair as it may be deemed a pre exsisting fault. His Heart Proved He Was A RedSuarez, SuarezWe Bought The Lad From AmsterdamWe Know He's Not a Chelsea Fan.Fernando Torres = El Judas0

Thanks Macman & Gerrard_8_lfc.
But would that be considered as a pre-existing condition/fault if i have been with BG for over two years and their engineers have visited my property for annual service(s) and couple of call outs for other reasons?
PS I was on Homecare 200 flexi initially and on Homecare 200 now; but I don't think it has anything to do with my original query...:)0 -
I'm not sure it's 'almost certain' BG will want the system power flushed at your expense. It's more likely the engineer will take a radiator key (£2 from b and q) and bleed the radiators to remove the trapped air causing the cold spots and noise. Imo, diy0
