Does anyone have any suggestions here?
I mistakedly overpaid on 3 of my credit cards (I only use them for 0%, when that has run out I repay them) - I paid off the wrong amounts and now they owe me money.
They have all just ignored my requests for refunds. (the amounts are quite significant £350, £140 and £95), in fact Virgin, who, IMO are the most incompetent of all time, keep writing to me to say that I must pay off the balance before they will allow me to cancel my card!
I no longer have the cards and I do not want to transfer to other cards.
Is my only option to obtain the cards again and use them to get the balance to 0?

they have a legal obligation to transfer the positive balances back to you somehow - they will do this either by BACS or Cheque.
Call them again and if they refuse request their complaints address and write recorded delivery explaining that you have tried to rebate your positive balances via their helpdesk but been refused, and you wish the funds to be transferred into your bank account XXXXXXXX/XX-XX-XX.
They can't refuse unless they want to break the law - if they do refuse complaint to the FOS.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Thanks - I gave up trying to phone as I had to wait so long - I thought writing may have been the answer, but 3 letters to each have just not been acknowledged..
I will try calling.0 -

No - it was quicker to write as I ended up waiting on hold for so long, but I will try and call.
Only problem is one of the cards is in OH's name - he has no chance of getting time to call.0 -
