Thanks for taking the time to read this
I am due to start mat leave on 09-01-2011 which is smp 124.00pw. My usual wage from work is 320pw. My partner has just stared a new job which is 220pw.
This will be our second child so we already have a tax credit claim that is ongoing. We recieve 42.00pw ct and 21cb.
I have rang the tax office today and spoken to them but the lady on the phone wasn`t very helpful hence this post.
I explained about my mat leave and my partner starting new employment , and after reading through a few posts on here i have found out that the first 100pw of my mat leave doesn`t get taken in to consideration which the women on the phone didn`t mention and DID take this in to account.
I have also read that they work your entitlment out on last years salary but this women didn`t she was using this years and asked for estimates which was all very confusing as she was starting to get frustrated with me because i didn`t have them as i had only phoned up for advise.
After 25minutes on the phone i came away even more confused.
I was told i would be entitled to no payment increase as the award we had was correct.
So any advise or help anyone could give me would be very much appreciated as i am due to have my baby on wednesday so as you can imagine my head is all over the place trying to sort everything out.
And thanks again for reading through my post :T

As with the previous poster - what is your question?
if it's about getting child tax credits for your new baby see the link below, otherwise you need to state what your question is.

Sorry could anyone please give me any information as to benefits that i might be entitled to as i haven`t got a clue about any benefits. As i have said previously i have rang the tax credits helpline and they wasn`t very helpful.
The only thing i can think to do is ring back after i have had my baby.
Again sorry about not being clear before and thanks for reading.0 -
