Balance Transferring....

in Credit cards
Hi, I'm new to balance transferring so need a little help please...?! I'm looking at buying a cheap car and putting it on my credit card then transferring the balance straight away. I've only been looking at trade sales because of using my credit card, but the bargains are in the private sales. If i withdraw money on my credit card to buy a private car, can i still balance transfer or do they have to be actual sales on the card to be able to transfer the balance? This is probably a really stupid question, but as i've never done this before i'm not sure of the 'rules'!
Thanks
Thanks

Don't withdraw cash from a credit card.. it'll cost you!!!. What kind of credit card is it? Some (MBNA) allow you to do a 'super' balance transfer to your bank account (for a fee - usually 3% or lower). You'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0
