Peru & Ecuador - Tourist Visa ?

I have been trying to find information on tourist visa for Peru and Ecuador.

I have found information which states that British tourists to Peru do not need to apply for a visa (info here)

but I am struggling to find the same kind of information from the Ecuador embassy.

Anybody know if British citizens require a proper tourist visa for Ecuador ?

I just found another website which provided me with what I need

Entry requirements for UK nationals: UK nationals must hold a valid passport. No visa is necessary for stays of up to 90 days.

We were in Peru and Ecuador last year. We just filled in a form at the border and got a stamp in our passport (we're both British Citizens).

Enjoy your time out there - they are amazing countries!

Awesome that's eased my mind. Hope it's not like Laos and Vietnam where they charge you extra $$s for no reason for a visa.
