Need Help With JSA Claim

I started my claim back at the begginning of October and I was finnaly got a decision on the 23rd Dec after closing my claim beginning of Dec as I got a job. It was declined becuase It says i have more income than the law says I need to live on, but i dont get any income I explained my dad pays for my accomodation but none…

The long and short of it is this. If you are claiming a means tested benefit and there are other things you are entitled to but choose not claim, they will treat your claim as if you had it. Because you would have been entitled to HB, they will treat any money you receive to pay your rent for you as your own income.
