Quick sale companies

Hi, Has anyone used a quick sale company to sell their house? What are your general thoughts on them? Need advice as have to sell my house but in this current market is it worth using a quick sale company to avoid the stress and waiting to sell on the open market? Thanks!

Lots of threads about this - use the search.

If you're happy with 60% of the value go for it.

There's a link in the green bar above this called 'Forum Search'.

Can I suggest you spend a few minutes with this, using terms like

    Quick house sale
    quick sale company
    quick house buyers

and variations. There's a thread like this started almost every week, so plenty of reading......

We aren't using a quick sale company as such but selling to cash buying rental investors. Our house was valued at around 80,000 and we are getting 60,000 for it.
I can't really call it a quick sale as such as our vendors of the house we are buying are taking forever but at least they are flexible and not (yet) threatening to pull out due to the time iit is taking.
Maybe have a word with your estate agents and see if they have any investors on their books who you could sell to as I think they pay slightly more than quick sale companies (although they don't pay your legal fees so this could even out!)
