What do i do?

I currently have a credit cars which I have £800 on. I was looking to change to a 0% balance transfer card because I won't get charged APR like I am now. I can pay the card off easily in the next 12 months now I have had a pay rise

Although my credit score used to be bad it is now a fair one. I don't want to apply for a card, get rejected and end up going back down the ladder! I'm worried i'll get rejected but don't know who the more lenient provirs are?'

Can anyone give me any advice at all on what I could do or who they've had success with?

why have you poor credit status... whats wrong with your credit records
if you have a poor record, missed/late payments, defaults etc then you are unlikely to get a 0% card
one credit search will make no difference so you may as well try.

I had a bad previously score because about 12 months ago + I went over my overdraft a few times so my score went bad. Now I have made sure I've made payments and not gone over my agreed overdraft limit (£100). It has been a good 7-9months since I applied for a different card.

If I apply for one and fail, will it not affect my score much then? Is there certain providers out there that arn't so strict on your score?

Could I just add that I seen the barclaycard gold credit card and its for people with average criedit and I fit all the needs except for it says to earn over £17,500 which I do not, I earn about £12,000. Is it worth it?

Use their pre-application checker:

This gives a reasonably accurate guestimation of which cards you are likely to pass for based on your circumstances and credit file.

Thanks again for that but unfortunatly it hasn't come back with that card

I think my best option is to apply at my local bank and if it fails I'll just have to accept it and pay off the interest

hey mate. i had a cap one credit builder at 18. i used it well for a year and got a credit limit of 750. before christmaas i applied to natwest for one of thier best cards and got accepted straight away (1000 limit) and this is my bank of 4 years who i never had an overdraft or charges with, yet they wouldnt give me a loan! its strange how they do it but every lender is clearly different so id say go for it. its worth a shot but just dont apply left right a centre. shop about a bit first. good luck!
