I am trying to fix a spyware infection on my XP PC. I have been run Hijack this and have posted the log into a specialised HJT forum for advice. Whilst I wait for a reply I have been looking at the log.
Some of the entries relate to the Avant browser which I used to have but I thought I had unistalled. It still appears in the IE right click menu however I cannot find it either on Start>Programs or Start>Control>Add/remove programs or browsing from the C:\ directory in my computer.
Where could it be and how can I remove it?
Thanks
SB

you could try ccleaner at https://www.ccleaner.com - this can clean up any old registry settings.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0

Thanks Woo.
I have already tried that with no luck.
To clarify from my OP I can actually launch the browser by using the right click menu in IE7. However I cannot find where it is located on my PC.0
