i cant see the use for it on the road but it definatly made a difference to my slicks temperature but in a road car its just nonsense

i have a massive bottle of it in the garage charged with 3000psi of the stuff i must get rid of that i keep forgetting

Sell it to a chav by offering it as "nitro". They wont know the difference between nitrogen and NO2.
  • yeah but they would know it doesnt go in tires

You get your tyres inflated with nitrogen at Costco. Ooops mikey72 already mentioned that.

Use helium instead it will make your car lighter and more fuel efficient.

a couple of days back had 3 new boots fitted to company van at crap fit they claim the tyres were nitrogen filled on invoice and presumably charged lease company for the pleasure?? funny thing is they must use nitrogen for the air gun to tighten wheels up aswell because they used the same air line on tyre and gun.

    Just had a thought,

If you inflate your tyre with a standard air line, When the tyre loses a bit you will
    have pure nitrogen eventually?

    One to think about?

Mine had no difference, they get pumped up occasionally, but probably more due to the difference in petrol station gauges.
Anyway, by the theory it leaks out, once I lose the first 22%, when I blow them up again I'm only 4% oxygen overall.

    eventually
