30 hour element tax credit query?

Im not sure if working full time or part time makes any different to tax credits. does anyone know what difference it makes. If you are earning the same amount. having recently changed jobs doing less hours, but earning same as before. not sure whether it changes anything? thanks

Yes - if your hours go below 30 you don't get the 30 hour element (and if you don't have kids or disabilities you may not get anything).

AFAIK, its about £15 a week however as the income would most likely be more, the tax credit award will be less.0

From April 2011, if your income is above £6,420 per annum then for every £1 above this you earn, your Working Tax Credits will be reduced by 41p. You need to work out if it will be worthwhile or not.
