ive connected my old pc to my tv upstairs,
installed a wireless usb,
found my netgear wireless router down stairs,but the wee screen at the bottom right hand side of desktop keeps flickering between connected and not connected,
when i try to get on to internet it tells me theres a problem with connection.
can anyone advise me on how to set this up correctly?

windows xp.
i got a new v/media hub modem yesterday and i thought i could just use the old modem,
but when i put the old one in the power light on it keeps flashing on/off.
i dont know if v/media has deactivated it,thats when i tried the wireless usb.0
