Post office home phone advice wanted and warning

I am currently having an issue with the Post Office Home Phone
My Boyfriend has moved to Jersey, and he got a Jersey (Airtel Jersey) mobile.
With my post office phone I get free UK mobiles calls at weekends, unsure if this included Jersey mobiles, i phoned customer services to check and was informed it did
Fast Forward a few months and I have received my phone bill and these calls are shown as chargable, in fact they are shown as "Personal Numbering" and charged at a high rate.
I have tried phoning customer services, was talking to someone earlier who didn't understand what personal numbering even was, and told me there was nothing he could do, and the supervisers were all in a meeting so i couldn't talk to one (This was after half 7) and to phone back later, that they were open to 11.
I phoned back about 9 to be told that the supervisers all left at 8, I asked to get put through to complaints, but supposedly you can't talk to them without speaking to a superviser first!
I generally have had no issue with the Post Office and have previously found their customer service department very good, but this issue is now annoying me, as my phone bill is due tomorrow!
Anyone got any advice?

A Jersey Mobile is not a UK Mobile,so you dont get inclusive weekend calls to them. .You have been misinformed by the PO, so its something they need to address.
Suppliers normally charged them at a Channel Isles Mobile Rate ,they are not charged the same as a call to a UK Mobile.
Cheapest way to call them from PO is via www.18185.co.uk who treat them as a UK Mobile Call.0 -

Indeed, Jersey is not even an EU member.0 -
Thanks for the help
I am fully aware that Jersey is not in the UK or the EU, however they do use the UK dialling code,
This is why I asked the post office before making the calls as i didn't want to be hit with a bill.
I will no longer be phoning the Jersey mobile, as i also have a landline number for the boyfriend in Jersey, and this is treated as a UK call by the post office
My bill is now being looked at, and I do not have to pay it until it is reviewed by the billing department at the POWeight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
