I have lots of photos on my laptop & want to save them somehow.
Can anyone advise me on an easy way to do this?
Do I need a memory stick? and if so how much memory on it will I need for approx 500 pics?
I use IE & Windows vista if that helps
TIA x

Don't rely on a memory stick as they can fail as well as an external drive, if you have 500 photo's then they can rage in size from 1 meg each to 10 meg each dependent on camera. You could copy them to Facebook or Photobucket so you have a copy as well as burning them to a DVD.0

Hi
If you put all the photos in a folder, then right-click 'Properties' will show you the size (in MBs).Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -
Has your laptop got a DVD/CD writer , burn them on to blank disks (and check you can still read them) then repeat the same and save the second disk at parents/siblings/childrens house.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
