Quick update on our plans. We gave our notice to marry last week need to puck up the documents next week. Tried on dresses last Thursday, was fun but found nothing I went wow at, think it's going to take a while. And today we have booked our photographer and to top it off I won the package half price through Surrey Wedding Magazine. Can relax a bit for a while now. Think cake it next to decide on.

Hi everyone
Hope all your planning is going well. A few updates on ours:
I've ordered my dress! It's a Maggie 'Naomi'.
We've also put a deposit down with the topiary company for our mini-trees up the aisle (we thought of this before the royal wedding, honest!) have given notice of marriage and pick the certificate up this week, and we're meeting a photographer tomorrow. After that, I'm planning on taking a couple of weeks off from planning... mostly so I don't kill my mother!!!!

photographer and videographer booked, had church and venue booked since this time last year (where has the time gone!) been to two dress shops, got two i love same as above- very different, love em both for diff reasons-no idea how to choose! Save the dates on the way from vista...which is the only MSE thing ive managed!

Thought we ought to resurrect this thread only 8 months to go till March next year

I've not done a great deal since the last update, tried on a few dresses and may have found the 'one' but umming and ahhing over cost at the moment.

Did manage to pick up some cheap favours from confetti too which arrived today

ordered my dress...dont get it till December (boo)

Paid deposit for "decoration" ...found an awesome woman who will do chair covers, centrepieces, menus, name cards etc all for one inclusive price...and she can do my bouquets too if i want them

BM dresses next, know what we want (we being me and the BM's..H2B couldnt care less LOL) found it online and a local shop to try them on at...just need to get all my girls together...which has never been done before!

Hi everyone! A little update on where I'm at:
Dress purchased, venue booked, registrar booked/given notice, caterers booked, photographer booked, bridesmaid dresses bought (early due to a pregnant BM!) Save the Dates printed and sent.... I think that's all... Next up we're going to look at florists and DJs... initial quotes for DJs for sound system during the day and playing tunes in the evening £650 :eek: Feels like it's all coming together slowly though, very exciting. Hope all you March brides are enjoying the planning xx

Hello everyone!
My planning got put on hold for a bit, as OH was poorly and in hospital for a bit, but now he's out I'm back to collecting all the small things like sweetie jars, and bits for the centre pieces.
We sent out our Save The Dates, they were from Vistaprint and I thought the quality was great, so we ordered our invites from there too (just waiting for them to be delivered).
8 months!! eeeek!
