I have ordered some items from next (boots!) to be precise and wanted to know how they are packaged for collection? Do they come in sealed bags like stuff from John Lewis, or will I have the embarrassment of obviously being a man buying women's shoes?

really can't see why this would be embarrassing - thousands of men have bought boots as presents for their other half, why would Next staff think anything of it?
Not to mention all the saucy underwear bought at Ann Summers and the like - I'm sure these stores are full of guys buying all sorts of stuff!
PS Just to add - if you go in there dressed like Lily Savage on prom night then you may have a problem..0
